Workers in the Department of Science and Technology 7 recently got vaccinated against COVID-19  to help contain the virus spread that  became a devastating global pandemic.

The jabs was done under the auspices of health department which administered the vaccination of DOST workers in region 7.

The employees  also got the jabs as part of their efforts to ensure that their workplaces homes, and families are safe for them and their families.

About 89 percent of the total number of combined regular and job-order employees have either gotten their full vaccine shots or got their first of two vaccine doses.

Other workers have not undergone the procedure either for medical reasons, physical condition, or skepticism about the vaccine brand.

Out of  89 DOST 7 workers, only seven have remained unvaccinated. Of those vaccinated, 70 received their second and complete vaccine shots. (by: Licinio F. Gingoyon)
